But due to the fact that you can’t save cost-effective electric energy in a sufficient amount it is necessary that the utilities provide generating plants and a sufficient grip-type network in order to satisfy the demand Due to the high technical and financial effort the energy supply utilities offer their customers the compulsion to take a consistent amount of energy by giving them special fees. The capacity demand rate allows the customer to take influence. In most of the cases only a few high amounts of taken energy which have occurred by coincidence are responsible for the capacity costs of the whole year. Here is the point to prepare an important step forward for the control of capacity by reporting and analyzing the own load profile.

Recording of the loading process
To install a data logger for the inquiry of the loading process is possible without having installation work. By the use of bottoms for gauging which are fixed to the mechanical or electronical meter with a vacuum cap attachment the data of consumption will be recorded if the meter is configured with a converter gripper measurement or in the position to report the external impetus. The data logger DIMAS3 reports this for any minute and for a period up to 85 days.

Analysis of the loading process
All recorded data can be transmitted to the PC by using a serial standard interface. There are several types for presenting the data and you will get details concerning times, frequency and complexity of the situations of delivery (the phases for putting on, break times, highest time of consumption and lowest time of consumption)
